DATE OF ESTABLISHMENT:
Radiance High School was established in September, 1999. The founders are: Bishop F. L. O. Menkiti and Mrs. E. I. Menkiti. At the time it was established, the kindness, mercy peace and favour of God on it were overwhelming. Happily enough, they are still there today. That is why it is called Radiance High School, a school that radiates the greatness, favour, power and the goodness of God.
LOCATION:
Radiance High School is located at 41 Road, Festac Town near the Local Government Secretariat. It can be reached easily on foot, on okada, in a bus or in a taxi
WHAT MOTIVATED THE OWNERS TO SET IT UP:
Love of children and the desire to set up an institution that would enable children to bring out the best in them. There is also the desire that the children under their care should know, serve and walk in the way of God.
THE BUILDING:
The school is housed in a two building with two wings. It has 32 classrooms, 15 of which are occupied by the junior while the remaining 17 are occupied by the senior.
AIMS OF THE SCHOOL:
Among those things that made the founders of the school to establish the institution are to:
(a) Offer students a balanced and qualitative education.
(b) Bring up students with a high grade of discipline to prosperous future.
(c) Train children to walk in the ways of the Lord
(d) Bring up children in the knowledge and fear of the Lord so as to enable them to walk in His ways.
(e) And initiates disciple in them.
STAFF:
It has seasoned experience, loyal, hardworking and well trained staff whose efforts have enabled Radiance to be what it is today. That is why in spite of mass failures in external examinations, our children have come out with good results.
ENTRANCE INTO THE SCHOOL:
By entrance examination. The first exam takes place each year in May, the second take place in august. The subjects taken are English, Mathematics and Verbal Quantitative.
DISCIPLINE:
The school does not believe in indiscipline. A high standard of discipline reigns therefore, in the school.
BUS TRANSPORT TO AND FROM SCHOOL:
Parents are expected to send their children to school by a means of their own choice. The school has however buses that bring children to school in the morning and take them back after school. Payments in respect of these buses are not covered by school fees. Parents who wish their wards to take advantage of the facilities are expected to register with the school and pay the relevant charges. The buses ply the following routes. Okokomaiko, Subiri, Alaba International, Ajangbadi, Surulere, Iba Estate, Okota, Coker, Mile 2 and Amuwo Odofin

J.S.S. 1-3:- Mathematics, English Language, Literature-In-English, French, Igbo, Yoruba, Social Studies, Religious/Moral Instructions, Introductory Technology, Integrated Science, Fine art, Home economics, Business Studies, Music, Physical and Health Education, Agricultural Science, Computer Studies, Civic Education.
S.S.S 1-3:- Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Government, Geography, History, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Food and Nutrition, Computer Studies, Typewriting, Financial Accounting, General Mathematics, Literature-In-English, French, Igbo, Yoruba, Agricultural Science, Economics, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Religious Studies, Commerce, Shorthand, Civic Education
